The inspiration for this quilt was the quotation by Emily Carr and my own interpretation of Gon in the art I create.
Commercially printed fabric for background, hand-dyed cheese cloth, and lace. The image of the cross and the eight-petal flower were created with computer program Kaleidoscope and printed on fabric. Lettering and other images were modified and printed on fabric. Free machine quilting and embellished with seed and bugle beads. Framed with crochet yarn chain.
